Delhi high Court Judgment in CWP 840 and 858 of 2003

These writ petitions(CWP 840 and 858 of 2003) are filled by directly recruited officers in the cadre of Assistant Executive Engineers (AEE) in the CPWD to challenge an order of the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) dated 5.12.2000 and a subsequent order dated 30.05.2002 (latter in the course of proceedings which sought review of the earlier impugned order.

Delhi high Court directed the Central Government to, in the first instance, consider all the relevant materials and decide as to the exact number of vacancies which are to be diverted in the cadre of Executive Engineers from the quota of AEEs, and thereafter proceed to conduct the review as directed by the Tribunal (CAT).

This exercise shall be completed within 12 weeks from today i.e. JULY 22, 2014.
